Following highly successful debuts last year with Detroit and San Diego Symphony Orchestra, “Brilliantly inventive” (Limelight) concert pianist Yeol Eum Son returns to the USA to make her Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra debut in a trio of concerts from the 19-21 May. Yeol Eum will lead the orchestra from the bench in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Yeol Eum’s great affinity with Chamber Orchestras is reflected in her recent collaborations with the Scottish Chamber and Aurora Orchestra as well as her upcoming debut with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra in June this year. Next season, Yeol Eum will return to the United States and Canada for her debuts with the Atlanta, Pacific and Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s as well as with NAC Ottawa.

Yeol Eum Son’s 2022-23 schedule includes a succession of debut performances with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra (Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2), the NDR Radiophilharmonie (Beethoven and Rachmaninov concertos), the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias (Szymanowski’s Symphony No.4) and Musikkollegium Winterthur (Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major).
